INTRODUCTION 

Abobi Movement

Abobi Movement & 775 HQ are both entertainment organisations rooted in the heart of the Niger Delta region, with a strong presence in Bayelsa state and Rivers state of Nigeria respectively.

In our quest to not only provide quality entertainment for our region, the need to impact our society positively by way of raising awareness and becoming a voice against social vices - violence, cultism & drug abuse, which have become a plague in our region was born.

PEACE N MUSIC PARTY (PNMP)

The initiative ‘PEACE N MUSIC PARTY (PNMP)’ is a non profit project designed and set to take the good gospel of peace, education on the dangers of violence, cultism & illicit use of drugs to the nooks and crannies of the Niger Delta region. 

Our first point of call scheduled to hold on Tuesday 26th December 2023 is the revered Yenagoa Community, situated in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa state, known historically as the first urban city in Bayelsa state and also dreaded for illicit activities ranging from cultism, violence and drug abuse. 

While other entertainment collectives within and outside our region have focused on making profit off talents in the region, our initiative on the other hand have decided to focus on rebuilding a better Niger Delta region free from social vices, using talent and entertainment as a tool for peace, unity and progress.

As a region plagued with violence for so long - militancy, sea piracy, illicit use of drugs and cultism, there is need to reorientate our people, especially the youths, of the disadvantages of such an image externally, our region must be free from violence, illicit drug use and cultism to sustain peace, tourism, prosperity and stability.

APPEAL FOR FINANCIAL & MORAL SUPPORT

The ‘PEACE N MUSIC PARTY (PNMP)’ initiative is our very own way of giving back to our society. This we intend to achieve by reaching out to selected communities (community school outreach & a free to attend music concert) in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria dreaded for their high rate of social vices, preaching the good gospel of peace, unity, progress and stability in the Niger Delta region, using talent & entertainment as a tool. 

However, it has been designed as a charity initiative, focused on improving our society. Our burning desire to impact our region positively outweighs our desire to make profit. 

It is on this premise we humbly crave your indulgence to use this medium to ask for your support financially and otherwise. As we intend to empower the best student at every community school we visit with a gift worthy of inspiring their pairs positively.
